Default yamaha banana bass

I've been looking for one for some time too. They are pretty unique looking.

I've been planning on making a replica one for a couple of years now.

I would find it useful to have someone trace round an existing one for the correct body shape/headstock . . . less guesswork etc

If anyone has such a bass . . .

I've been searching for this bass for quite a while, too. Any idea where I can buy an SBV-500/550/J1/J2 in red?
