Those are mighty fine pups, I have them in my Framus Lorento hollowbody, but they don't really buck mud. Nice sounding nontheless.

Buck mud...

Mine do tho.. only I cant really capture that cos of the bad microphone im using... everything bassy doesnt come trough.. and then again Im more of a bridge pickups guy I use a setting of mostly 70/75% neck and 100% bridge pickup to only bridge pickup, and I never play above the neck pu either I never go as far as between them.
Its personal I know.

Default Clips

I know which I prefer - the Framus sounds and looks great.

Probably less claity than the Jazz, but a bit more grit. Its good that they took the general concept (SG shape) but didn't just do a boring EB3 copy, but actually used some Framus features to make the bass their own.

I like it!

Well yeah its actually very nicely made! If u open up the control cavity evrything is very clean and nice and well shielded.
Even they put a very small flake of wood on the back of the headstock to cover up the laminated 3piece gleud together neck... now thats some quality in detail! Also it doesnt have a nut but some metal spacers and a final fret like some very modern basses have!
Plus what I find very handy 2 pickup volumes plus each one tone and a pickup switch... so I make my perfect blend with both pickups and can easily switch from an allround darker more carrying sound to a more soloish bridge pickup sound in a flip of a switch!
