Default am i getting ripped on this tbird?

i need some advice, im able too get a early nintees tbird in good or fairly good cond for about 1000$. and they usually go for between 1400-3000$ here in sweden
but it doesnt have the original pick ups. they are active emgs.
and there have been some cutting involved. i just dont know how much
any advice?

The only thing that looks unfortunate is that the new pickup route cuts completely through the center section, which is also the neck wood. If 4 string emgs (or any 4 string pickup) are smaller, then you will have to fill the gap, and then refinish? You can find the early 90's Tbirds on US ebay going for an average of $800-900 sometimes and thats with no mods. Trouble is getting them to ship to you.

Emg 4 and 5 string soap bar pickups are the same size....3.5 inches.
