Default Skunk Stripe Grabber

Skunk Stripe Grabber for sale on Ebay. Non angled headstock. Very eraly model from what I understand. Too bad the electronics aren't original.

A while ago, I noticed some pics of Gene Simmons witha non angled headstock (ie: Pbass) and posted about it. I believe it was Jules who stated early production and prototypes of the Grabber had necks built like Fender with a solid maple neck/fingerboard and a skunkstripe on the back of the neck for the truss rod. This is the first one I have seen on ebay.

Yes, the early ones were like that. They also had a Fender type slotted truss rod nut as opposed to what you normally get with Gibson. To ensure string pressure the headstock curves concavely in relation to the nut hence the truss rod cover is not flat but concave.

I have one in pelham blue like that.
