Default My 97 Epiphone Ripper sounding

Hi:

Here a little demo of my Epi, sounding with the "new" Schaller Bassbucker pickup and with both pickups.

Thank you friends!

Well, at first are sound both pickups (slap), after, only the Bassbucker (bridge position), and at last, both pickups again.

The stock pickup isnīt bad, but the Bassbucker is more clear and articulate, and the blend is very good.

I was bought a pair of Bassbucker in a store in Valencia, in my country, but that was loooong time ago (20 years, perhaps?).
There are more info:

Sorry, I forgot to comment this.
I bought the pickup long time before than the bass.
Jules, this Ripper is the mid nineties version.

Sounds great! I put in an old EMG active soapbar in my '90s Epi and the same black tuners from old Gib stock on Ebay. Also got one of the bridge 'mod' bars on Ebay and this bass is very nice and sustainy now. I still would like a vintage Ripper to compare, but I am very happy with mine also.
Am working on putting an EMG P in my Victory bass in the next few days.

Thanks for that link Santi, I wasn't sure if you could still get them. They sound like a good project option.

Yes Gripper, the black tuners are form Ebay. The old tuners was ok, but the black ones are Gibson Schaller.

I was thinking about the sustain bar also, but I havenīt bougut al last.

And Rumblecat, yes this pickups are good for projects, it got four wire to do different coil combinations.

If I find one of these I will let you know.

Regards
