Default SB

A very nice upgrade for sure. What are the controls/pickups? Simple vol-vol-tone with 3-way pickup switch? Block inlays too... fancy.

Interesting footnote about the headstock inlay

Well, that inlay design is known as a flying F-hole. Originally designed by late 70s Gibson luthier/designer/artist Chuck Burge. Notice the lightening bolt going through it? That was actually added after the flying f-hole bit. The idea was a passive instrument got just the flying f-hole, and an active instrument got the lightning bolt going through. Not sure whether any passive flying f-hole inlays were ever used.

really like that bass! I think it will sound very good with two of those pickups.

Is that the original bridge? The placing of the bridge cover is rather odd and has not much use in this way I think.
