Hi DeGecko, thanks for reply, have found answer on Wikipeidia Fender Basses/Jazz. The Jazz Bass made between 1989/1992 had a larger body and 22 Frets and was also known as the "Boner" due to its Long horn at top. Thats that sorted.!!

Allright, I would still love to see some pics though :D

If you mail 'em to Jules (site admin) he usually puts them online too ;)

Hi DeGecko would love to send some pics but not even sure how to upload on admin page, no facility ! unless i am a little thick (probably the case) is there an e mail address i could use? You will see the difference in size on top horn when compared to standard Jazz! :

First, you can now upload a pic directly. When you're making a post, look for the "Upload Attachment" tab beneath the text box.

As for your question, there was nothing called a "Longhorn Jazz." It was just the American Standard Jazz style of that era. Here's an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0344218346

Thanks Jules, See how the top horn reaches past the 12th fret? I have had this bass 5 years and never noticed. Not sure how rare it is! has anyone else got one? :
