Default 1988 thunderbird truss rod cover?

Does anyone know where to find one? I think they are all the same from '87 on... I have scoured the internet. All I have been able to find are the ones for newer epi's. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Eventually, you should be able to find one on eBay...If you want a tracing of one, let me know. Be aware that nothing from the Epiphone model will fit your gibson. Pickguard shape is diferent, bridge, etc. I would imagine that the truss rod cover will be slightly off as well.

Thanks, I know I can have one made....or buy generic part, but it seems like such a stupid thing to not be able to find an original. Or is it? I've been checking ebay. Was just hoping to stumble across one.

I sold one on ebay about a year ago, for around £30 IIRC - which was more than I thought it would go for.

They do come up - patience is a virtue with regard ebay
