I wonder if it intonates at all.

Besides that, what an ugly modification...

I wonder why cut the neck shorter and move the bridge backwards? A Triumph is heavy bottomed, not neck heavy.

Thats not ugly Its FUGLEY! I love my shortscale Hobbits. My 1st was a triumph with no electronics or wiring. I flipped when I saw the schematic and 8 leads on each pup!! So Im so glad I put 2 chrome GibbyLP HB's and made aluminum surrounds to cover the routs. Its a pleasure to play and look at.
I hope someone buys it and does the right thing.

Went for just over the $400 asking price. Those lipstick pickups look hilarious on a Triumph!

I don't think it will intonate either ... The red line is the distance from nut to 12th fret, the blue is the same line from the 12th fret - as you can see it goes beyond the bridge. The saddles are as far back as they will go - in some desperate attempt to get as close as possible.

I just can't see why anyone would shorten the neck. They just cut out the heel by the look of it - compare this one to an original. What a thing to do ???

Mind you, it looks like the case is in the background of one of the pics, although not mentioned in the text - I guess it is included

$400 seems too high to me, even with case. No original parts (except a knob maybe), the neck is unusable and the body is a right mess. This will cost a lot to do anything with.

Still, I guess you could make a long scale LP with it and one of theose maple necks doing the rounds....

Since the auction listing says it intonates, I wonder how easy it will be for the buyer to get a refund.
