when i had my EB-4L repaired because the tone switch did not function well, the guy 'fixed' everything by just taking all the wiring out! it was too complicated for him.
next i took all the parts to a guitar shop but there they wondered if this set of parts was complete. so can somebody help me with information (scheme?) on this subject? |

NOS = New Old Stock
An old car restorer's term, meaning parts that were never sold and just sitting on a shelf for years. I need to decipher the wiring and switch thing as I have a pickup that I would like to do justice to. Link away.

Sorry to be slow people - been on holiday
ok, the NOS switches are available from the greatdealz people -there are none up now, but they put them up all the time - next time you check, they could well be there Heres one of my EB4Ls from inside - switch is part number 3261931 ![]() Here are two switches being sold as 'nighthawk?' switches by the greatdealz people. They come in 2s - note my two are different, yet both have the same part number as above. I'm guessing they both function the same, despite looking a little different from each other. The switch on the left is the only type i've seen in an EB4L, but perhaps either type would work. ![]() ![]() I don't have a photo of the inside of my previous EB4L, but I remember the plastic on the switch was the same dark blue as the greatdealz one rather than the lighter shade in my pic above. |

hi Jules,
these images may indeed be helpful. would it be possible to make a screenshot of the page of the 1977 replacement parts catalog with all the parts mentioned in detail? thanks, rob |
