I recently obtained a Grabber with the serial number 000040.

My questions are just general questions concerning the bass, i.e. what year was it manufactured, how much would it be worth now, etc? Judging by the price I paid for it, I believe the previous owner was unaware of just what it was he had in his possession. Any information would be useful. Thanks in advance!

Gibson serials pre 1977 is tough. Yours seems to be an early one (serial nr indicates 1973). A few pics would be nice. Does it have a "skunk stripe" on the back of the neck?
