Default EB2D Custom?

Never seen one before - anybody knoiw anything about these? Was the binding and block markers on the neck the only differance (between this and a normal EB2D?

This one has a nice 3-colour burst finish to boot. Very choice.

1968 Gibson EB2D Custom Bass Mint

This same seller also has a very nice 70s Tbird (natural fin - very pretty) and a early (LP Jr style body) EB0.

An impressive collection indeed. I used to have a reissue Dan Armstrong plexi bass that I brought a couple of years ago and it came with two pickups (Deep Bass and Bright Bass) that you could change over really easily. It was an incredibly loud bass and the deep bass pickup sounded really powerful like a mudbucker.

I never have tried an original plexi bass to compare to the one I had but mine was a great bass.
