Default Gibson Victory bass circuit changes, Rev A and Rev B

Thanks to electronic engineer and Gibson Victory fan, Kirkwood Rough, FlyGuitars is pleased to announce some new pages on the site. Kirkwood has created schematics for the Victory Custom and Victory Artist bass guitars.

But Kirkwood also pointed out that there are two versions of the Artist circuit. The newer one is marked Rev B, the older is unmarked (but we are calling Rev A). Differences are very subtle (the active/pasive switch is mounted on the scratchplate rather than the board) for Rev A, plus a slight difference in capacitors. Read more about this on the Gibson Victory Artist Bass schematic page.

I am trying to compile a list of Victory Artist bass serial numbers, and whether they are Rev A or Rev B. Can you help? For differences between the circuits please see the Rev A / Rev B images on the Victory Artist circuit image page. If you can, please post your basses serial number and Rev A or Rev B, and I shall add them to the list below. Thanks.

So far we have

Rev A
83231632 = 19th November 1981

Rev
82231609 = 11th August 1981
81952568 = 14th July 1982
