Default Gibson '79 RD artist

I have a 1979 Gibson RD Artist Bass for sale in Natural colour. Its in really good condition with all black knobs and switches. Comes with the original case which isnt in as good of shape as the guitar but still holds together well. Im asking $1,500 OBO for it. E-mail me at Bengoyert@hotmail.com for pictures or anymore info.

FYI $1500 is a bit much (unless both the axe itself as well as the case are in mint shape) - for that much you can buy an RD Artist (near-mint condition) in a more desirable/rare finish. Natural RDs are the most common and typically don't fetch as much as burst or even ebony ones.

$1000 + shipping is what you could expect - not even that much without descent pics. Though a vintage burst (highly desirable finish!) RD Artist (without case) just went on ebay for just under $950. I was gonna snag it but was out of town and my bro forgot to put in my bid for me.

Hi, maybe the guy I got it from was ripped off but he paid $1200 for it about 4 years ago and it hasnt been played since then. Barely even left the case. As for the pictures im trying to get them asap but the guitar is actually being stored at a friends since I dont have any room right now. But I'll try to get over there in a couple of days to take pictures.

Thanks
