Default Gibson RD CMT

Hi everybody.
I'm the proud owner (yes i've told you this before) of a beautiful 1980 Gibson RD CMT. What I'd like to know is how many where actually produced of this model? Also, mine has a regular black truss rod cover. I've noticed that most RD Artists have a cover that says RD Artist. Does that mean mine is a replacement?
Anyhow, the bass is fantastic in every way! If you don't already own one, get one!!!

Hi,
Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera but I'll try to borrow one from a friend and then take some pictures of the thing. It sure looks nice!!
