Default Coral SG Bass

I saw an add in the British Guitar Mag that had a dealer who listed two "Reissue custom coral SG basses". Either it was a misprint or they meant it was a guitar or coral was cherry red?

The mag is at home, but will look up their web page. Of coarse I can't remember the name. It's in the last issue toward the back.

Anyone know if they did any custom colors?

Default Huge!

This could be huge.

When was the last time Gibson did a series of more than one custom color basses?

The 60's?

If this does well we could see it on T Birds?

Default SG bass colours

yeah, thats a surprise. I haven't been to London to look for a while, but i've heard no mention of them. Better go and check it out!

A custom colour could just make me buy one!!!!!!

I think yellow gets my vote, with blue a close second. Call it coral if you like, but pink is just not a good colour for a guitar

now, on a tbird the blue would win every time!

Default Daisy rock?

Maybe this is Gibson's anwser to Daisy Rock guitars?

They have the same colors offered in a guitar line. The short scale smaller bass would make more sense for a teen girl wanted not to be strapped with a huge beast. The colors could be considerd of of three things..

50's car colors
Miami Vice
Girl/feminine colors

Interseting it seems they are not being sold in the US as of yet?

I like the Blue and the Coral - if it were more of a salmon color vs real pink (Do not like pink) Pink is so 80's/Miami Vice looking.

Default Numbers game

It will intersting if one color is going to be "the rare one" or they will just force dealers to take all three?

The Dealer in the U.K. listed only the coral and only had two. One Japanese place listed only coral and that they were sold out.

Default Vixen

That's what it seems to be. The guitar line is called Vixen, so I must assume the bass line is just an extension.
