Yeah, that's a shocking difference. I've seen other EB-2 basses in that finish but none as faded as that.

I saw an EB-2 DC this Spring at a guitarshow with that fade. I thought it was a gold refin at first.

I like that colour.
Walnut has always been my favourite - especially when you can see a nice grain - that faded red-brown is not a as good but still quite respectable. Its funny how different things fade in different ways - I wonder how much sun it takes to do that. Makes me want to keep my curtains closed... |
