Default new bridge for my grabber

well i just added to my collection again, i have just come into possesion of a '75 g1, it has an emg for a regular guitar in place of the stock pickup, but it actually sounds really good, other than that nothing special, natural finish, typical wear, but it was short money and i love these basses. once i get it home though, i realize that the bridge is a mess, i.e. saddle screws missing/broken, and one of the intonation screws is stripped beyond use.

i have no problem putting something like a badass II on it, but i really like the option of having a string-thru body, it gives it a little more string tension which comes in handy when playing detuned like i do.

so my question is, does anyone know of any good aftermarket bridges which would still allow me to string though the body. i found a supposed "badass III" bridge on ebay today http://cgi.ebay.com/Leo-Quan-Badass-...QQcmdZViewItem which says it can be used on string through fenders, but does anyone know if that could work for a grabber?

YES The Leo Quan Badass 3 bridge works VERY well w/ the Grabber & installs VERY easily. The hole spacing is almost perfect (only a couple mm off at most). And the mounting holes are the same way. the two outer holes on the badass 3 work w/ the stock bridge's holes, then just drill a small pilot hole for the 3rd center screw. The bridge makes a dramatic improvement in sustain & tone, as it weigs easily 3x what the flimsy stocker does. Do it, it's worth it!!!
