Default I'M SELLING MY 1977 RD ARTIST

After wrestling with this for some time, I've decided I'm going to sell my RD Artist to get something different.

I'll be sad to see it go  but whilst I love the sounds I struggle with the weight and the neck shape.

If anyone is interested in buying it or is looking to do a trade give me a shout. I can sort out pics and give details, etc. In brief though it is the sunburst finish (like the one on this site), comes with the original case and all electrics and hardware are original (with exception of strap buttons). It is stamped "second" on the back of the headstock and has wear to the finish and pickups. Oh and if anyone was a fan, it was formerly owned by Casey Orr, former bass player with GWAR.

Hey Shadowcastaz, I'm thinking I may look at a Les Paul standard but I haven't made my mind up for sure. I already have a Ripper that I like and having tried a G3 prefer the Rippers.

What parts have you got?, I'm working on a Fenderbird project at the moment and want to get some tuners for the Fender neck and haven't made up my mind about pups yet.

I bet you will - but if you don't play it I guess it makes sense.... just think about the new bass you'll be getting.....

Not thinking about a Guild JS2?

Now that's something I'd forgotten about Jules. I saw a JS2 long scale on the bay in the last couple of days.

Still I keep hankering after the Les Paul. I wish I'd taken up the offer of a swap for one when I was selling my SGZ. Oh well needed to live with an RD to see what it was like.
