Default Gibson Grabber

I have a bid in on Ebay for one. If I win it I will get it for $400.00. 1976 movable pickup. Just wondering if anyone has one, how they feel, the play, etc.

Thanks

They feel cheap, dirty and extremely gratifying.

"Raucous" sums it up really. Grinding middish sound with overdriven treble and sufficient bass frequencies. But grinding mids dominate - a bit of a punk bass. A Fender P probably has a bit more ooomph, but is not as dirty in sound. You won't have issues hearing yourself with it even plugged into an undersize rig.

Good luck.

Uwe
