Hi All,
I'm new to the site-it looks great! I attend many guitar shows here in the US and there is one dealer that has recently been showing up with a sunburst RD Artist bass that had a creme bound neck and body. I must say that I've never seen a bound RD bass-does anyone have any idea how much this bass might be worth? I always go back for a second and third look, but have never pulled the trigger on it. How much is he asking for it?

It is one of the rarest RD's - the CMT RD ARTIST (curly maple top) produced in limited numbers in the early 80's. It was one of the last production RD's.

I have only seen one on the Bay, it was reall beat and went for over $1300.

A really mint one, I would think, would fetch $1500 +

Thanks for the reply-he's asking $1650.00 for the bass-I'm thinking it can be had for $1500.00 or so. It does have a really nice maple top and is in 8.8-9.0 condition. It's such a cool bass, I think I just might scoop it up at the Dallas guitar show in October. If I get it, I'll post some pix here on the site.
